The Genesee Brewery showed their Rochester pride by hosting a food drive for Foodlink. During the fall, more than 400 brewery employees collected food to be donated. Barrels placed throughout the brewery held nearly one ton of food for donation. North American Breweries’ CEO Rich Lozyniak, with the help of brewery employees, presented the donation to Foodlink’s Executive Director Tom Ferraro.
This donation marks the first charitable initiative by The Genesee Brewery since North American Breweries took over the brewery in February of 2009. The Genesee Brewery is one of the largest and oldest continually operating breweries in the United States. Thank you Genesee for your generosity!
